Responsible
for the Co-ordination of a Production Line. This role
involves organising and supervising the Production Line
Operatives, Line Service Operatives and Machine Minders.
This will also include the full responsibility for
maintaining the line hygiene, immediate operating
environment and line equipment, manufacturing the products
to the highest quality ensuring that all requirements of the
business and our customers are met and working to set Key
Performance Indicators
Responsibilities:
1. Daily co-ordination of the Line Service Operatives,
Machine Minders and Line Production Operatives. Ensure that
all line personnel are adequately trained and understand the
full responsibilities of the job they are assigned to for
the manufacture of each specific product
2. Drive forward agreed Key Performance Indicators for the
manufacture of each specific product on line.
3. Monitor and ensure that product quality and safety
requirements are achieved and that customer development
specifications and manufacturing instructions are
consistently being met at all times.
4. Work with the management team to assist in problem
solving and implementation of corrective action on your
production line. Make recommendations to improve product
quality.
5. Liaise with the Process Auditors, and Technical
Department regarding quality , microbiological / hygiene
issues and complaint investigations.
6. Liaise with Development Technologists during Production
trails and Production launches to ensure both the customer
and company’s requirements are met at all times.
7. Co-ordinate all required and scheduled checks of the
products, manufacturing equipment and environment where
required.
8. Compilation of all required paperwork, ensuring that the
requirements of the BRC standards are being met at all
times.
